Melissa Herlitz, AICP is a Planner who assists clients with development and zoning matters, including rezonings, variances, special exceptions, and site design plans.

Ms. Herlitz has a Master of Urban Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. She has previously worked as an urban planner for the City of New York, where she led rezonings and reviewed waterfront development projects. She has also worked as a planner for an international civil engineering firm. Her background both as a civil servant and as a consultant provides varied perspectives from which to draw on when analyzing plans and zoning, working with architects and engineers, and preparing exhibits for public review processes.
